Susanne H. Thompson, Ed.D.
Susanne is a career educator who started as an elementary teacher and has worked as an educational consultant, assistant principal, director of curriculum and instruction, and superintendent of schools, to name a few. She has served as Moreland University’s president since 2021.

Melissa Collins, M.Ed.
Instructor/Mentor, Moreland University
Melissa transitioned to teaching after earning a bachelor's degree in music therapy. She holds a master's degree in special education and has worked with students with special needs for 13+ years. She has been with Moreland University for more than six years. Her plans for the future include pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership.

Kevin Fosburgh, Ed.D.
Elementary Principal, American International School in Abu Dhabi, an ESOL Education School
Kevin began his educational journey in the U.S., where he served for seven years as a principal in a rural Title I school in Arizona. Currently, he leads an international elementary school in the UAE, where he is focused on school improvement, instructional leadership, and building inclusive systems for diverse learners. Kevin is passionate about equity in education and empowering teachers to lead through distributed leadership models. He holds a doctorate degree in educational leadership and is an advocate for culturally responsive hiring and support practices.

Cherie Kinnersley, Ed.D.
Superintendent, Chiang Mai International School
Cherie began her teaching career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in the Fiji Islands. Following that, she was a middle and high school science teacher in the U.S. for 18 years, serving diverse communities. As a teacher leader, equitable opportunities and access was a passion. That continues in her role as superintendent, where her focus is on creating spaces that are inclusive, provide representation, and support each member of the community to learn and grow.
Cherie holds a bachelor’s degree in biology, a master's in science education, and a doctorate in educational leadership.
