Ashley is a Moreland University instructor/mentor with more than 17 years of experience in K-12 and higher education. She has served in various instructional and leadership roles throughout her career, including intermediate math and science teacher, teacher leader, and mentor to early career educators. Her work is driven by a deep commitment to instructional excellence, creative lesson design, and cultivating learning environments that inspire curiosity, innovation, and lifelong learning.

Miya is a Lebanese educator with 8 years of experience who is currently teaching in Kuwait. She brings research-driven strategies and hands-on experience to help build strong, student-centered classroom environments. Her classroom management approach intertwines structure with empathy, creating spaces where students feel respected, engaged, and empowered with their own autonomy.
Kathy Schmidt
Kathy has been in education for more than 15 years, from environmental education in zoos and aquariums to teaching ESL courses to colleagues on cruise ships to teaching scuba diving in Thailand. Her travels and diverse experiences have given her a unique insight to working in international education and connecting with students from different cultures. She currently teachesmiddle school English in Casablanca, Morocco.
Cici Chen
Cici is a G1 homeroom teacher at a bilingual school in Shanghai, China. With 14 years of teaching experience, she believes engagement and encouragement are key to effective learning. She's excited to join this global discussion on classroom management and share insights with fellow educators!
