Lea Strampp

Lea is a North Carolina educator and mother of two. She specializes in Multilingual Learners and is a Moreland University instructor and the ESL department lead for a K-12 school in Asheville, North Carolina. Lea completed Moreland’s TEACH-NOW Teacher Preparation Certificate Program in 2014 and earned her Master’s in Globalization in Education from Moreland in 2017.

Gabriela Machin

Gabriela is a middle school Spanish teacher at Langtree Charter Academy in Mooresville, North Carolina. She grew up in Miami and spent most of her early career as a paralegal and interpreter before moving to North Carolina and taking her first classroom job with zero teaching experience. She completed Moreland's TEACH-NOW program in 2025.
 
 
Jorge_Castañeda_Square

Jorge Castañeda

Jorge has more than 19 years of teaching experience in Honduras and the United States, specializing in mathematics and English as a Second Language (ESL). He’s currently a middle school ESL educator, a math coach for beginning teachers, and a math tutor for students. His background is in industrial engineering, and he has a Master's in Finance, a Diploma in Special Education, and an M.Ed. in International Teaching.
